With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth J. Manso of Fairmont City, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Manso, Sr.; her son Joe "Pepe"; her daughter-in-law Carla Manso; her grandson Ryan Zajac; her parents, Walter Lemon (Vinne Lee) and Gregory; and her siblings, Robert Gregory (Betty), Wanda Steinheimer (John), Walter Charles Gregory (Shirley), Leland Gregory (Lou), Mary Franco (Joe) and Nancy Connors (John).
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca "Becky" Manso of Fairmont City, IL, Karen Manso of Fairmont City, IL, Toni Pflueger (Tom) of Fairmont City, IL and Kevin Manso (Christie) of Troy, IL; her grandchildren, Bethany Dahm, John Reid (Samantha), Jered Reid, Seth Manso, Ella Manso and Nina Manso; and her great grandchildren, Will Dahm, Wyatt Dahm, Peyton Reid and Cameron Reid.
