She was predeceased by: her husband Martin V. Abilez, Sr.; her parents, Teodoro Guardado and Emma Guardado (Carr); and her siblings, Virginia Abney, Elva Ortiz, Jose Guardado and Teodoro Guardado, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Marty Abilez (Lisa) of Maryville, IL, Rebecca Klutho (Ted) of Crestwood, MO, Michelle "Rene" Crain (Bob) of Caseyville, IL, Ed Abilez (Laura) of Ballwin, MO and Robert Abilez (Jeffery Schott) of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Audrey Crain, Jacob Crain, Parker Crain, Eddie Abilez, Jr. and David Abilez; and her great grandchild Jason Abilez. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL.
