We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2019, at the age of 92, Lupe Arteaga (Fairmont City, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus and Carmen; her former husband Erasto Lucio Arteaga; her husband Angel Reyes Sierra; her son Vito Anthony Arteaga; and her sisters, Mary Vega and Beatrice Carbaugh.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita Buffa (Patrick) of Fairmont City, IL, Erasto, Tony, Santiago Arteaga (Linda) of Moab, UT, Roseann Schmitt (John) of Fairview Heights, IL, Debra Sue Dalton (Kay) of Moab, UT, Daniel Richard Arteaga of Granite City, IL, Maria Anna Whitney (Nathan) of Moab, UT, Mario "Getzy" Sierra of St. Louis, MO and Michael Sierra of Collinsville, IL. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren; brothers.
