He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymundo Otero and Vincenta Otero. He is survived by: his wife Maria T. Otero Garcia; his children, Jesus L. Otero, Beatriz Otero, Hector Otero, Maria Concepcion Otero, Alfredo Otero, Jaime Otero, Luis Otero and Hilda Otero; and his siblings, Miguel Angel Otero, Raymundo Otero, Alicia Otero, Clementina Otero, Evangelina Otero, Manuel Otero, David Otero, Teresa Otero and Javier Otero. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
