He was predeceased by: his parents, Torbio Lamas and Diega Rosales; and his siblings, Getrudes Lamas, Marciana Lamas, Juan Lamas, Gonzala Lamas, Cleofas Lamas, Teresa Lamas, Lupe Lamas, Carmen Lamas and Fela Lamas.
He is survived by: his wife Maria J. Hernandez; and his children, Guillermina Lamas, Carlos Lamas, Linda Lamas, Martha Lamas, Luis Lamas and Juan Carlos Lamas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
