She was predeceased by: her brothers, Joseph Zuniga, Manuel Zuniga, Louis Zuniga and Joseph Barboza; and her nephew Martin H. Zuniga.
She is survived by: her husband Roy T. Valdez; her children, Rita Barrera (Francisco) of Cahokia, IL and Roy D. Valdez (Laverne); her grandchildren, Jackie Stone (Tony) of St. Louis, MO, Angela Valdez Dolosic of Granite City, IL, Crystal Suarez (Raul) of Granite City, IL, Alejandra Barrera (Chad) of Collinsville, IL and Francisco R. Barrera of Marion, IL; and also Together.
