He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Hinkle and Opal Hinkle (Robinson); his siblings, Louis Richard "Tom" Hinkle, Cecil Hinkle and Norma Jean Hinkle; and his siblings-in-law, Lester Gerber, Ruth and Kay Hinkle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Hinkle (Marjorie) of Louisville, Jerry Hinkle of Cisne and Wanda Gerber of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
