Lucille Fern Eckelberry Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Fern Eckelberry of Fairfield, Illinois, born in Olney, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Osborn and Phoebe Anna Osborn (Loudermilk); and her grandson Shaun Dunn. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Wells (Mark) of Fairfield and Penny Dunn (Richard) of Xenia; her grandchildren, Carissa Lawson, Carl Dunn (Crystal), Amanda Sills (Harry), Amber Dagg (Kenny), Elisha Bowling (Robert), JoAnna Allen (Adam), Andrea Boyd (Josh), Jordyn Strange (Dustin) and Laura Steury (Ethan); and her siblings, Paul Osborn, Carl Osborn, John Beal, Tom Beal, Gene Osborn, Ruth Heckler and Virginia Moats. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lucille's memory to SSM Health Hospice of Mt. Vernon, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted through the funeral home.
