He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jackson and Mary Dover Jackson; his siblings, David, Bud and Norma Mehrkens; and his father-in-law Jim Wells.

He is survived by: his children, Crissy Stephens (Clint) of Fairbury and Craig Jackson of Fairbury; his granddaughter Jadyn Zimmerman (Ty); his child Kyla Stephens; his brother Steve Jackson (Linda); his mother-in-law Joann Wells; and his siblings-in-law, Diana Ramsey (Mike) of Fairbury, Marsha Taylor (Dave) of Fairbury, Nancy Wells and Dennis Wells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
