Velda J. Huette Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Velda J. Huette of Fairbury, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Koehl and Martha Koehl (Zimmerman); her husband Arthur Huette; and her siblings, Clarence, Virgil, Leroy, Maurice Koehl, Bernice Cox, Edith Meiss and Eldora Hoerr.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Huette (Jane) of Cape Coral, FL, Kay Davis (Jay) of Forrest, Vicki Bellis (John) of Racine, WI, Kevin Huette (Toni) of Hudson and Julie Shambrook (Mark) of Roberts; her grandchildren, Lisa Ekema, Chris Huette, Dustin, Devin Davis, Anna Muchow, Tami Haggard, Melissa Schafer, Andy Huette, Amy Flammer and Ryan Huette; and her siblings-in-law, Jaunita Koehl, Barb Huette Hurt of Fairbury and Dr. John Huette (Yolanda). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Forrest Apostolic Christian Church (27215 E 900 N Rd, Forrest, IL 61741).
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Retirement Community or SELCAS.
