He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Roberts and Betty Kyler Roberts; his wife Lavonne Harms; his children, Roy Rodrick (Angela) of Dwight, Laura Souba (Shane) of Peoria, Allen Roberts of Germantown Hills, Tad Roberts (Laura) of Gilbert, AZ and Susan Glowacki (Michael) of Fairbury; his stepson Mark Taylor of San Francisco, CA; and his sister Sandra Dawson (Rick) of Fairbury. He was also cherished by twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to OSF Hopsice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
