Marilyn L. Fortna Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn L. Fortna of Fairbury, Illinois, born in Chatsworth, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Pearson and Lillian Pearson (Drilling); her husband Richard Groskreutz; and her sister Phyllis Corban (Pearson). She is survived by: her children, Joyce Forbes (Ivan) of Grand Cayman and Gerry Groskreutz (Diane) of Chatsworth; her brother Glenn Pearson (Zoe) of Lafayette, IN; her grandson Connor Groskreutz (Ashley) of Normal; and her great grandchild Everly Groskreutz of Normal.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Haven of Fairbury or the United Methodist Church of Chatsworth.
