With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard J. Roth of Fairbury, Illinois, born in Forrest, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Roth and Carrie Roth (Rieger); his wife Marilyn Kaufman; and his son Doug. He is survived by: his daughter Cathy Roth of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, Katherine, Jacob, Lincoln and Elizabeth Roth; his daughter-in-law Jody of New Palestine, IN; and his close friend Judith Wells.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (320 S Oak St, Forrest, IL 61741).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the J.A. Fowell American Legion Post #174, or the or a charity of the donor's choice.
