He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John George and Mary Leona Traub (Zehr); his wife Bonita Stein; his sisters, Ida Lou Gundy and Mary Mae Traub; his grandson Christopher Leman; his children, John C. Traub Jr. (Dede), Debra Roach (West) and DiAnn Leman (Charles) of Niota, TN; his grandchildren, Abbi Leman, John J. Traub (Kristin), Marta Collins (Kevin) and Ben Traub; his siblings, Harvey Traub (Barbara), Dorothy Martin, Ruth Streitmatter (Jeff), Kathryn Honegger, Evelyn Saal and Marjorie Leman (Bruce); and his brother-in-law Gary Gundy. He was also cherished by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Prairie Lands Foundation, Fairbury, SELCAS or Fairbury Fire Dept.
