She was predeceased by: her parents, Darse Burgess and Ira Chamber Burgess; and her son Michael Russell. She is survived by: her husband Michael Forbes; her son Lawrence "Larry" Russell (Mary) of Fairbury; her grandchildren, Kevin Russell (Beth) of Fairbury, John Russell of Glenarm, IL, Jim Russell of Fairbury and Stephanie Russell of Tempe, AZ; and her great grandchild Devon Russell of Farmer City.
