Emma Schaffer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Schaffer of Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bittner and Lydia Bittner (Zimmerman); and her son Peter Allen Schaffer. She is survived by: her husband Peter B. Schaffer; her children, Joyce Honegger (Lloyd) of Forrest, Ron Schaffer (Vicki) of Forrest, Warren Schaffer (Jan) of Lexington, Rebecca Buck (Howard) of Clearwater, FL, Steve Schaffer (Debra) of Saunemin, Lynn Schaffer (Becky) of Fairbury and Kevin Schaffer (Martha) of Fairbury; and her sister Jeanne Bittner of Fairbury. She is also survived by 41 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
