He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Aupperle and Lena Gnehm Aupperle; his wife Greta Ann Ellis; his children, Dennis R. Aupperle (Cindy), Ronald E. Aupperle (Vicki), Robert A. Aupperle (Kristi), Mark D. Aupperle (Kristi), Beth A. Froidcoeur (Paul) and Linda S. Bergstrom (Pete); his brothers, Elmer Aupperle (Beata) and Eldon R. Aupperle (Virginia); and his sister-in-law Joanne Aupperle. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to OSF Hospice or the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury.
