He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay C. Smith and Angeline Smith (Lee). He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Walter (Jay) of Fairbury, Jayne Trowitch (Don) of Fairbury, Kim Traub of Charleston and Janet Leake (Greg) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Todd Davis (Kelly), Sarah Steidl, Matthew Trowitch (Amber), Julie Read (Jeff), Andy Traub (Ashton), Jeff Traub (Valerie), Evan Leake (Erika), Ryan Leake (Maggie), Bradley Leake (Dustin Martinez), Janna Stillwell (Joey) and Ashlee Leake. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
