It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Montel of Fairbury, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lindsey and Gladys Lindsey (Hovious); her son Michael Montel; and her siblings, Phyllis Kesler (Norman "Toad"), Hinda Marchetti (Paul) and William Lindsey.
She is survived by: her husband Harry R. Sohn; her children, Karina "Kari" Whelan Ferguson (Brett), Douglas "Doug" Sohn (Casey Luce), Angela "Angie" Sohn (Jeff Nelson) and Daniel Sohn (Erica Barnett); her former husband Steve Montel; her grandchildren, Madison Burns (Jordan), Logan Whelan (Emily), Delaney Whelan, Anellie Sohn, Evan Resuali (Julia), Sam Resuali, Avery Resuali and Brynn Resuali; and her great grandchildren, Emmett Donald Burns and Mae Eden Whelan.
