She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Christian Edward and Amelia Zimmerman (Metz); her husband Willard C. Walter; her children, Dale Walter (Kathy) of Fort Wayne, IN and Carol Glotfelty (Tom) of Buford, GA; her grandchildren, Andrew Walter (Adryana) of Marietta, GA, Benjamin Walter of Homestead, FL and Rachel Singleton (Greg) of Sugar Hill, GA; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Sofia Singleton, Gwendolyn Amelia Walter and Lily Walter. She was also cherished by Her parents, three brothers, and five sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
