He was predeceased by: his wife Reta Jones; his parents, Ira G., Sr. and Leona M. Ramsey (Snow); his children, Brian Ramsey and Linda Whittenberg; and his siblings, Bob Ramsey, Maxine Funkhouser, Christine Beard and Doris Ramsey.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Ramsey, Clint A. Ramsey and Teresa Campbell (Edward); and his sister Shelby Cockrum.
