He was predeceased by: his parents, Bartholomaeus Lamprecht and Rosa Lamprecht; his brother Arthur Lamprecht; and his daughter Diane Lamprecht. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Lamprecht (Yeadicke); his children, Mary Finger (Bryon), Elizabeth Diericx (Rick), Barb Neal (Charles), Edward Lamprecht (Jennifer) and Thomas Lamprecht (Beth); and his grandchildren, Cambria Coots-Wickes (Travis), Kassandra Spoede (Clay), Amber Anderson (Tim), Kyle Neal (Kacee), Alex Lamprecht, Sydney Stringer, Ava Lamprecht, Cole Lamprecht and Ryan Lamprecht.

Memorials may be made in his name to St. Philomena's Grade School or the American Diabetes Association.
