He was predeceased by: his parents, John Veto Shaputis and Delores Cecile Shaputis (Specht); his brother Steven John Shaputis; and his nephew Terry Shaputis. He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Catherine Morgan of Ewing and Gary "Crow" Shaputis of Ewing; and his nephews, Tim Shaputis (Martha) of Ewing and Todd Shaputis.
