He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Getz Simons; his son-in-law Robert Simons of Mokena, IL.; his grandchildren, Richard Simons (Emily), Brian Simons (Brenda), Elizabeth Mezyk (Jay) and Kimberly Reed (Eric); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Madi, Evelyn Simons, Blake, Braedy Simons, Grace, Thomas, Jacob Mezyk, Scarlett, Ruby and Delilah Reed; his nephews, Robert Toberman, Ronald Toberman, James Toberman and James Getz (Susan Hilda); and his niece Janice Martin (Neil).
