He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Takash (Red) and Mary Takash; his sisters, Sharon Baum and Patricia Abrahamsen; and his wife Kathleen "Kay" Takash.
He is survived by: his sibling Thomas Takash; his children, Terry (Marichris), Tim (Susan), Joe (Sarah) and Holly Lopez (Sebert); his grandchildren, Brendan, Clare, Erin, Kerry, Willy, Maggie, Lily and Tony; and his brothers-in-law, John, Bob and Ed Zahorik. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be welcomed at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
