She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Francis Catania and Rose Catania; and her siblings, Isabel Fitzpatrick (late Martin), Anthony (late Susan), Patrick (Jean) and Charles Catania (Rita).
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Spanos (Tony), Christina Rice (Michael) and Ali Green (Tom); her grandchildren, Audrey, Valerie, Melissa, Lydia, Amanda, Matthew, Nicholas, Miranda and Nicole; and her siblings, Francis Catania (Zelda), Angel Catania, Michael Catania (Chris) and Rose Sula (Bill).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kosary Funeral Home (9837 S Kedzie Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805). A vigil service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Most Holy Redeemer Church (9525 Lawndale Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
