He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Fries and Bertha Fries; his daughter Diana Eggerding; and his sister Betty Ann Schlesinger. He is survived by: his wife Marie J. Fries Evansville; his children, Larry Fries (Artann) and Deb Ellner Prairie (David); his sister Karen Hill Troy; his grandchildren, Amy Atkins (Nick), Suzanne Eggerding, Steven Fries (Katy), Beth Fries, Christy Deterding (Chris), Ryan Ellner (Denise) and Laura Mergelkamp (Chad); and his brother-in-law Gary. He is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren 2 Step Great Grandchildren.
