She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Kruse and Minna Kruse; her husband Victor "Vic" Rowold of Peter's Lutheran Church; her siblings, Wilferd, Victor Kruse and Nelda Cholly; and her brothers-in-law, Victor Koester and John Cholly.

She is survived by: her son David (Linda); her grandchildren, Greg Rowold (Mandy) and Allison; her sister Lucile; her sister-in-law Ardell; and her great grandchild Renee Rowold.
