With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVerne Knott of Evansville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact LaVerne had on those she encountered along her journey. Though LaVerne may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Siegfried and Esther Siegfried; and her husband James D. Knott of Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her sister Marlene; her niece Jeri; and her nephew Jeffrey (Melissa).
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (1007 Olive St, Evansville, IL 62242). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
