We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John M. Hughes of Evansville, Illinois, born in Vincennes, Indiana. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Schafer Hughes and Dorothy Dale Hughes (Williams) of Allendale; and his grandson Matthew Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Floyd; his former wife Josefina Flores Robles; his children, Curt Hughes (Valerie Hartz) of Allendale and Francie Billings (CJ) of Parker, CO; his grandchildren, Courtney Hughes, Erica Billings and Carter Billings; and his siblings, Sharon Gehret (Gene) of Mount Carmel, Carolyn Jeffers (Brad) of Bradenton, FL and Dale Hughes (Peggy) of Allendale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

There will be a graveside service immediately following at Allendale Cemetery with social distancing measures in place.
