He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Carolyn (DeSwarte); his children, Michael Beck-Gifford (Hillary), David Gifford and Peter Gifford (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Galen, Shawn and Eli; his great grandchildren, Gemma, Gwennyth, Liam and Josh; his siblings, Jack Gifford (Marge) and Mary Gifford; and his sibling-in-law Alice DeSwarte Smith. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and a nephew.
