With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter M Givler Jr. (Evanston, Illinois), who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Walter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Walter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Givler and Ethel Givler; and his wife Mary Frances "Fran" Givler. He is survived by: his children, Walter "Wally" Marion Givler III (Joan) and Mary Adele Givler-Savage (Arthur McHenry Savage); his grandchildren, Laura Marie Owen (Dan), David Edward Givler and Madeline Frances (Forest Collins Sharp); and his great grandchild Jackson Glenn Owen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elliott Chapel of the Presbyterian Home (3131 Simpson St, Evanston, IL 60201).
