We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Suzanne Maholias in Evanston, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Zoy Maholias; her mother Marcella Craig; her aunts, Verna Paddock (Lester Paddock Jr.) and Florence; and her uncle Mario Bartoli.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Vicki Lydon (Jim); her stepgrandchildren, Jack, Nicholas, Zoe and Sofia Lydon; her stepson James Maholias; her stepgranddaughter Amelia Maholias; and her cousins, Cheryl and Ronald Paddock. She is also survived by children, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, and given Suzanne's lifelong love of opera, memorial donations may be made to Lyric Opera of Chicago, 20 N Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60606; or in honor of her love of animals, they may be made to Evanston Animal Shelter, 2222 Oakton, 611 South Blvd, Evanston, IL 60202, or to any other animal shelter; or to Lake Park Friends, 2975 N Lake Park Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53211, in honor of the park she loved very much.
