He was predeceased by: his parents, Lothar Knobel and Lotta Knobel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Seth Knobel and Jeremy Knobel; his daughter-in-law Alyssa Knobel; his grandchildren, Leah, Alana, Heather, Stephen, Lily and Oliver; his siblings-in-law, Judy, Tom Varga, Howard and Janet Goodman; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Yanoff, Michele Yanoff, Scott Goodman and Dana Goodman.
