It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Jordan Bussey (Evanston, Illinois), who passed away on March 7, 2021, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Daniel Braucher; and his uncle Paul Braucher. He is survived by: his parents, Brian Bussey and Victoria Braucher Bussey of Evanston, Illinois; his grandparents, Virginia Ford Braucher of Willowbrook, Illinois, Ronald and Linda Bussey of Traverse City, Michigan; his aunts and uncles, Steven Braucher, Elizabeth Benjamin (Kenneth), Carolyn Atkins (Taylor), Kevin Horan Bussey (Pamela), Scott Bussey, Eric Bussey (Erin) and Thomas Scheele; his cousins, Ian, Heather, Esther, Steven, Anna, Jessica, Nicholas, Luke, Riley, Jade, Isaac and Genevieve; and his pet Rowdy. He is also survived by extended family that included second cousins and step-cousins and great-aunts and uncles.
During his illness he went on camping trips, played basketball with friends, hiked and walked his dog with friends and family, and spent as much time with all the people he loved as Covid restrictions would allow.
