It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lela Mae McElwain (Evanston, Illinois), who passed away on August 19, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Virn; her son William; and her siblings, Lloyd Sutton, Louise Rebel, Beulah Venza, Beatrice Sutton, Darlene Beatty, Ophal Sutton, Lucille and John.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Schneider (Richard) of San Rafael, CA, Russell McElwain of Arlington Heights, IL, Warren McElwain and Lois Fick (Don) of Wahoo, NE; and her brother George Sutton (Joan). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
