He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen Ray (Brian); and his siblings, Fran Aimone (late Larry), Larry McDermott (Katherine) and Margaret Farrell (Terry). He is survived by: his spouse Demerise M. "Dee" McDermott; his children, Mark McDermott (Cherie Cannon), Jeff McDermott (Mary Therese), Reese Gratch (Joel), Janet McDermott (Joe Aichholzer), Michael McDermott (Kristin) and Jennifer McDermott- (Antonio Montana) of Montana; his grandchildren, Cailin McDermott (Joe Ronald), Sean, Connor McDermott, Kelly McDermott (Jim Bowe), Meg McDermott (Eric Rahn), Patrick McDermott, Stephanie Mooney (Henry), Becca Gratch (Michael Mooney), Haley, Matthew Aichholzer, Dillon, Hanna, Olivia, Gavin, Matthew McDermott, Roxy Figueroa, Alexis Figueroa, Colleen Rivers (LaRoy), Alyssa Ray (Aaron Camacho) and Andrew Ray; his great grandchildren, Brady Bowe, Alice, Edith Mooney, Tristen Rivera, Malea Rivers, Keilen and Aiden Camacho; and his siblings, Bill McDermott (Dianne), Mary Ellen Gelbuda (late Rich), Rita May (Wally) and John McDermott (Pam Ulstrom). He is also survived by his family and friends.
