He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Farney (Todd); his daughters, Catherine De Lisle (Ben) and Jennifer Farney; his grandson Gavin De Lisle; his siblings, Maureen Posner and John Farney Jr. (Denise); and his parents, Gertrude Farney (Kivi) and John Farney Sr. of Evanston. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
