He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Ruth Ann; his children, Julie Shiff, Scott Shiff and Jay Shiff (Mary); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Kristopher, Emily and Ben; his siblings, Theodore, John and Hal; and also Molin. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
