He was predeceased by: his wife Theresa M. Litman; his parents, Steven Litman and Luz P. Litman; his sisters-in-law, Alice (Joaquin Romero Sr.), Sara Litman, Sophie (Felipe Salazar), Lucy, Nicandro Villarreal, Elodia (Steven Litman Jr.), Mary Litman, Elena Litman (Jesus B. Garcia), Kathy Litman, Nellie Fernandez (Robert) and Zoila F. Perry; his nephews, Andy Fernandez, Joaquin Romero Jr., Ed J. Akers, Jerry Garcia, Gabe Litman Jr., Gilbert Litman and Steven Litman III; and his niece Irene Litman Sanchez.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Litman-Woods, George Litman, Jr., Bernard Litman, Jeffrey Litman and Laura Litman; his daughters-in-law, Donna Litman and Dorine Litman; his grandchildren, Nicholas O. Litman, Jessica MacKenzie Litman, Julia Janice Litman, Danielle Hannah Litman and Jeffry Laredo Litman; his siblings, Jane Litman Garcia, Peter Litman Sr. and Jesse Litman Sr.; and his cousins, Ernest and Eva Gonzalez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cooney Funeral Home (625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Maryhill Catholic Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
