She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Mendelson; her daughter Julie Mendelson; her parents, Richard Emanuel and Elli Emanuel; and her brother Peter Emanuel.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Mendelson (Sherri) and Andrew Mendelson (Linda); and her grandchildren, Diana, Sam Mendelson (Jessica), Katie Ertel (Shmuel), Leah Blackman (Reid), Jodie Kay (Greg) and Richard Mendelson (Michelle Lirtzman).
