With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Estelle Harriet Karabush (Evanston, Illinois), who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Estelle has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Irwin Karabush; and her siblings, Sylvia Grossman and Milton Katzman. She is survived by: her sons, Reid Karabush and Paul Karabush (Lana Fisher); her grandchildren, Rose Karabush (Virginia Biede) and Elam Karabush; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Karabush. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Menorah Gardens Cemetery (2630 S 17th Ave, Broadview, IL 60155). A shiva was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at the Karabush Residence (408 Lee St #2a, Evanston, IL 60202).
