With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald S. Brooks (Evanston, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 11, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ellen (O'Connor); his children, Donald, Mary Beth, Patrick, Thomas, Matthew and Ann Marie; and his siblings, Robert Steven and Rosemary Bartoszewski.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations go to Three Crowns Foundation Pathways to Excellence in Memory Support (http://www.threecrownsparkfoundation.org); and please go for a long walk in the woods, preferably with a dog.
