She is survived by: her children, Sam Barnett (Kathy), Peter Barnett (Caryn) and Charlie Barnett (Susan); her grandchildren, Zan Barnett (Taylor) and Wyn Barnett (Liz); her great grandchild Mabel Barnett; and her sister Laura McGrew.

We enjoyed several wonderful lunches together. I loved her license plate for her Volvo and the story behind it, my husband at Hubbard Woods Motors provided service to her beloved Volvo. Claire loved her family and will be missed by so many. Our deepest condolences, Sandy and Bob Berger”
