We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 61, Christopher Michael Scroggins in Evanston, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Rosemary Scroggins; his siblings, Jay, Cassie and Julie (Brett); his nephew Jack; his niece Abbey; his father William Francis Scroggins; and his grandparents, Leo of Kankakee, Mary Scroggins of Kankakee, Joseph of Kankakee and Rita Quigley of Kankakee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
He contributed countless hours to such groups as the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Alliance to Restore the Kankakee River, and The Kankakee Historical Society.
