With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Catherine F. Corcoran of Evanston, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband James Martin Corcoran, Jr.; her son Danny Corcoran; her brother Patrick Howland; and her parents, Bernard F. Howland, MD and Audrey Hayes Howland.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bancells (Richie), Kevin Corcoran (Deborah), Larry Corcoran, Rosie Fussell (Kevin), Pauline Corcoran and Moira Mitchell (Julian); her grandchildren, Christopher Bancells (Jaime), Andrea Bianco (Greg), Timothy Bancells (Jennifer), Connor Corcoran, Colleen Fussell and Caitlin Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Zack, Emma, Brayden, Ryan, Iyanna, Mia, Ezekiel, Riley, Carter, Elliette and Julian; her siblings, Terry Howland (Karen) and Bonnie Colfer (Ed); and her caregivers, Pauline Corcoran and Larry Corcoran.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John Brebeuf Catholic Church (8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
