He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Woodbury and Nan Woodbury. He is survived by: his children, Courtney Ballinger (Nick) of Greer and Rob Woodbury (Leah) of Denver; his grandchildren, Ana Louise and John Tate Ballinger; and his brothers, Bob, Tom (Libby), Jerry (Jeanne) and Ed Woodbury (Randi). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
