Betsye-Rose Altschul Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betsye-Rose Altschul of Evanston, Illinois, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Martin Steven (Eileen Hochstein), Lester Paul and Daniel Scott (Sherry Wallingford); her grandchildren, Brett, Curran, Drew, Mindy, Sam, David and Julia; and her great grandchildren, Lillian, James, Benjamin, Jonathan and Shoshana.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gillson Park (800 Gillson Park Drive, Wilmette, IL 60091).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chicago Botanic Garden.
