He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Campbell and Laura Campbell (Lempke); his siblings, Bert Jr., John Campbell and Virginia Skovronski; and his son Steven Campbell.

He is survived by: his spouse Anna Pauline "Polly" Armstrong; his children, Carol Ostrowski (Robert) of Harrisburg, PA and Keith of Catlin, IL; his grandchildren, Sibella Campbell of Tempe, AZ, Robert Ostrowski of Harrisburg, PA, Michelle Heron (Christopher) of State College, PA, Marie Mayotte (Ryan) of State College, PA and Christie Herbert (Sam) of West Point, NY; and his great grandchild Nathaniel Heron.
