He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Wagenbach and Bertha Wagenbach (Gerst); his wife Marilyn Elizabeth Graf; and his siblings, Paul Wagenbach, Gerald Wagenbach, Verna Woodward, Dorothy Schulz, Edith Wagenbach and Emma Jean Lanz.
He is survived by: his children, David Wagenbach (Charlene) of Burlington, Beth Steffen (Kent) of Congerville, IL, Jerilyn Yackley (Joe) of Taylor, MO, Heidi Larson (Nathan) of Mediapolis, IA and Mary Lanz (Tom) of Oakville, IA; and his sisters, Ada Massner of Mediapolis, Barbara Massner of Mediapolis, Bertha Massner of Mediapolis, Dolores Anliker of Mediapolis and Teresa Marti of Burlington. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
